Toad posed nicely for Vickey and me (see image in extras for the 'big picture' - http://365project.org/taffy/the-also-ran-ph/2017-07-30 - but then decided he'd had enough and started hopping away. Not sure why he thought it was a good idea to climb over the log, rather than hop around it.
Note: Toads are much bigger than the frogs.
We are now in Chicago, but these were calling to me to post.
Like the way you've made the toad front and centre in all the background distractions. I've never seen a toad up close and personal but a handsome prince it is not.
So clever how you have shown the colours in his back and emphasised it with the processing to the left of the shot. I haven't seen many toads this year.
