I'm Outta Here! by taffy

I'm Outta Here!

Toad posed nicely for Vickey and me (see image in extras for the 'big picture' - http://365project.org/taffy/the-also-ran-ph/2017-07-30 - but then decided he'd had enough and started hopping away. Not sure why he thought it was a good idea to climb over the log, rather than hop around it.
Note: Toads are much bigger than the frogs.
We are now in Chicago, but these were calling to me to post.
What a great capture! Love the tones and textures!

Like the way you've made the toad front and centre in all the background distractions. I've never seen a toad up close and personal but a handsome prince it is not.

Wow - that is a toad!! Fantastic colours. Does he have poison glands on the back of his neck? Great photo of him - all that visible detail.

So clever how you have shown the colours in his back and emphasised it with the processing to the left of the shot. I haven't seen many toads this year.
