More practice with my new telephoto. Great fun! Of course, I wish this had been an eagle, but still fun to try to capture animals doing interesting things. Actually, interesting to figure out what 'far away' things are worthy of photographing. This one is better on black to bring out details in the bird.
Woowee - this is so amazing! He looks like he is a living stature flying through the air. And he's cross about something. This is why you don't mind not being able to put your camera in your pocket!!!
I have thought of buying a longer lens to capture some bird shots but when I think that I probably wouldn't use it that much as I am primarily a landscape photographer I decide against it. But you have the perfect need for it.
