Winter is a good time to capture light trails as it's now dark at rush hour. The view looks north so the light trails that go diagonally to the upper left are I-94 expressway to O'Hare International Airport. It's also really nice NOT to be in the traffic and instead taking pictures of it!
Fabulous, I would love to do a light trails photo, but too quiet where I live. We are lucky to see a chap on a bike at night. Must get out into the city one evening to give it a try.
I think of you up there in your eyrie taking photographs of the little noisy bright things below to such great effect. I do think you chose a fantastic place to live!
Great to see these spectacular light trails. I'm also intrigued by the big screen toward the front of your picture. I'm wondering who it is aiming at tucked away behind the building in a small car park. I also like the other kind of light trials (patterns), going vertically up the tall buildings.
I'm quite fascinated by the 'birdseye' views you post of your home city Taffy. They're always very well executed and so full of detail. Until I 'met' you I never wanted to go to Chicago, but have seen so much interesting stuff I've changed my mind. Just love this shot.
it to us!
