@granagringa Hi - thanks for your kind comment! The background was the white ice. I tried to isolate the skater and her shadow which SOOC already looked like a black and white. In LR, I upped the 'white' slider a bit more, then increased contrast a bit, and increased 'black' a little to the left. That's all it took as the sun was REALLY bright and I was sort of shooting into it.
