Lots going on so working on photos from Monday. Obviously another subway system shot, this time above the tracks.
Good day today - taxes are ready to send to accountant, and even bigger, the construction project in our unit finished this morning! All signs of construction and its debris are gone from our condo, and everything is now functioning (and looks) the way it should. Very good day.
This is fabulous Taffy! Are you floating above the train lines? Lol! Wonderful processing bringing out such glorious detail of all those lines! I love these shots! What great news about your condo! Finally it’s finished! It’s been a long hard slog for you and Jim for so many years but finally it’s done! I can feel your relief and joy! Fav for your stunning image!
Right, right away into the distance - and then you notice all of the rest - looking gorgeous. You must be very pleased to have so many things fall into place for you. :)
So pleased you've had such a good day Taffy. Must be wonderful to have everything as it should be at last. Great detailed capture and I can't work out how you get such a great POV!
Needless to say I just adore this photo, right up my alley - again. How on earth did you get that shot, looks like you're standing out in the tracks. The detail in this shot is excellent, I keep finding more and more to look at. Pardon my ignorance, but in the absence of overhead electrical gear, which bit supplies the power? So good to hear your renos are finally finished.
@golftragic I was in the last car looking out the back window and snapped when the train stopped at the station. Power comes from the tracks. They are electric and lots of warning signs prohibiting humans on the tracks. Thanks for the kind words! And North America is now on your bucket list!
@taffy Very clever pov Taffy, and an excellent outcome. I never thought of that, probably because we can't do anything like that here. For various reasons the back of our trains is inaccessible so doesn't enter my consciousness. Yep, you've convinced me North America is now on the bucket list! Just need to keep nurturing the money tree in the back-garden.
Always my fav car on the green line train. For some reason you can get to this position on the green line trains going from Harlem to 63rd Street, but when ever I try and get it going the other way they have the door drawn across at the back of the train...grrr!

So glad your renovations are now over, it has been a long haul for you but I am sure you will now be able to relax and settle in.
