Arriving on Beaver Island in the midst of widespread fog, so for the first time ever, approached from the west ("our" side of the island). The pilot told us there was too much fog to cross the island so went around it. Not much autumn color yet and lots of fog and rain.
Lovely rolling fog across the island there. Not long til tha Autumn colour comes methinks. I love seeing land from above, I can imagine I am a bird in flight and this is my world spread below.
You are back on the island so soon. I hope it wasn't specifically to see Autumn colours. Ours are in full flow here now. This time last year we were packing for our trip to New England, where the colours of the season were peculiarly absent for our visit. Hope you get improved weather on the Island for your stay.
Are you there to close up for winter? Or will you manage another stay there before the year end? So interesting for you to fly in from this direction. Hope the fall colours come soon.
@pamknowler It's close-down weekend, sadly. Garden pulled up, furniture put away, cabinets and refrigerator emptied, etc. We were both saying 'we're getting too old for this' yesterday, but we love it up here so will likely keep doing it awhile!
