Driving home from the shuffleboard tournament, these 2 deer were hanging out, one standing, the others lying down. When I started to photograph them, first step was to both stand and stare at me. Next was to disappear into the woods beyond.

Good shot- a buck and I had a "how do you do" encounter yesterday before he bolted into the woods too. Today's close encounter was with a bear. Unfortunately there was not enough time to pull out my point and shoot before he ran off.
