Flamingo Friday is such a fun theme -- thanks to Ron, @strayshooter -- and I enjoy returning to my Serengeti images for processing. Still so many photos to work with that it's motivating me to go back. This is also for the Flash of Red high contrast focus this week.

Great high contrast treatment (although technically it's supposed to start on Monday!). It's fun to see the divided opinions above on color vs. black and white. I like this version because it's different and unexpected.
I prefer the colour version simply because their multiple shades are so interesting, but this really does work well in mono too. I still can't help but think of Mary Poppins' umbrella when I see their heads all stretched out like that!
