Baroque on Beaver has come to a close. I'm tackling over 1000 photos from a full week of events - sometimes 3 in a day, plus some requests for specific photos from participants. We sponsored two of the performers so hosted them for an afternoon at our place so they could get 'out of town' for a few hours and relax. Now to get everything organized into Flickr albums for musicians and coordinators to access. I needed a break from musical images so returned to some photos I'd taken during the few 'off hours' of the week. This was taken at the "Wellness Garden" adjacent to the small rural health center.
Gorgeous shot, bees just love lavender. I think our bee numbers will be down this Spring because a lot of our local bee hives have been destroyed due to varroa mite being detected. I think an infected bee came in on a container ship in Newcastle.
that bee really does mean business - a wonderful shot. I can't imagine the work load of editing and organising all those photos. What a momentous task.
