This was definitely an interpretive challenge! The band's name is from a South African locomotive, the PPR (Pretoria-Pietersburg Railway) 35 Tonner 4-6-0T steam locomotive that was in service in the late 1890s. The name of the album is from a quote by Henry David Thoreau: "Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth." I thought it interesting how the quote's last four words meaning changes when taken out of context.

@swilde Thanks Sue. I couldn't believe these when I drew them. I almost just ignored the whole thing, but then though of this heavy industrial looking image and figured it might work, with heavy lettering to go with it. It was fun in the end, but I'd rather have had a less obscure phrase to work with!
I really like this. When I saw it I immediately thought of one of those big champagne towers you see at fancy events. Ties in perfectly with fame. - and we all know how alcohol brings out the truth lol
