The Tokyo Forum is an amazing modern structure that serves a variety of purposes, almost like a convention center (maybe that's exactly what it is). We spent a few hours photographing in the late afternoon through early evening, and then again late at night. Everywhere you look there's something worth photographing. These are examples using my super wide angle lens. I thought b&w really brought out the structures, while the color versions show the grand scale and design.
I'm home in Chicago tonight (without any food in the house, no car, rainy night, and late -- and I'm starving!), leaving for Beaver island tomorrow for the summer. Enjoyed viewing and starting to catch up tonight and look forward to continuing to do so over the next several days.

Such a fantastic image Taffy! What an amazing building your wide angle lens came into it's own for this shot! Great lines and curves! Your shots of Japan have been amazing! Glad you are home safe but what a shame you are hungry! Safe trip to Beaver Island - wish I was coming with you - so many photo opportunities! Fav for this fab shot!
I love the colours here, and your high vantage point really shows the structure of the roof very well. The almost horizontal line in the foreground (balustrade?), unfortunately, is a bit distracting, but still a great picture.
@silver_fox Thanks so much for the view and comment. Yes, I used HDR on all three shots. For this one, I used it for both the details -- to make sure they were as sharp and detailed as possible, then followed up in Color Efex to bring out the color a bit more -- it was really fantastic lighting during the sunset hour, but the photo didn't show it the way I was seeing it, and Color Efex brought it back.
For some reason this one messes with your head a bit -it's a wonderful shot but nothing seems quite real. The angled walkways, inverted ceiling are all at odds with what you brain is expecting to see. Excellent capture.
Wonderful shot... as always. Such an interesting visual space. Love those repeating curves in the ceiling and the crossed, lighted bridges in the center.
I like this one the best of the three (although they are all great!). I like the line straight down the middle with the criss crossing walkway going through the middle.
This is another fab shot of Tokyo Forum 1 gorgeous lighting
