Today was the second (and final) day of the Beaver Island Garden Tour and I continued my role as tour photographer. I'm not quite sure what to do about processing over 600 photos (many of which will be processed via the delete key!). This was a view from the edge of one of the gardens on the northwest side of the island, looking across to Garden Island. Where there sort of formal garden ended was an area of natural grasses, through which they'd created a path down to Lake Michigan. I chose this version since the two people at the water's edge give it a needed (to me) sense of scale. Processed in b&w for the monochrome wednesday.
This is so lovely! The composition is beautiful. Love the BW edit. I also love the look of the lake with the waves. I dream of visiting the Great Lakes one day...
@pamknowler Thanks Pam! I hope they think that when they see the photos. I'm a bit nervous. But from my end, it's been a wealth of riches for photos these past two days! I could not take another and have stuff for all month!
