Saved for today's February word, dog. Terry, the dog, lives downstairs and is very suspicious of anyone who does not live downstairs, including Jim and me. We were having a drink with our neighbors last night (his people), and he graced us with his presence but not without protection!

@Weezilou It is very strange...I've not had a dog who didn't want me to cuddle him or her before! He's so cute, but he won't come upstairs to see us and when we're downstairs, he's moderately friendly.
As he's a little beauty! A lovely B& W image! He is the opposite of Finlay who just loves people and wants to be petted and made a fuss of! Lovely capture Taffy! Thanks for all your comments on my shots! It's so hard to keep up with everybody when you are busy so I do appreciate it!

He is so cute. Some dogs just don't like to be cuddled. I had a little one who was so independent at home, wouldn't come for cuddles at all. I qualified her to be a Therapy Dog and was worried that on visits she would give the old folk or the kids a cold shoulder. Not so at all, she just slotted into the role like a pro and spent the hour of our visit getting hugged and cuddled with her feet seldom hitting the ground!
