Warning: Broken

For the WCYS3 challenge - broken: http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/21777/wcys-3-broken
Major renovation of the plaza in front of our college was clearly a massive construction fail. The tiles are wobbly and many have cracked. This is one of two serious dangers at the bottom of the stairs. Only one of the two has a cone alerting anyone. Major accident waiting to happen, I'm afraid...Definitely 'broken'.

Great find. They have been placing cones all over our town to mark potholes. Recently, they have started fixing them. This winter has been tough on the roads and the walkways.

@sangwann Thanks Dione! Jim and I were wondering the same thing when we walked into work the other day. They are going to have to re-do it, and clearly whoever did the engineering and the installation did a poor job of it. We had a hard winter, but still, the amount of damage is quite beyond what would seem reasonable if they had installed it properly (or designed it properly). The university funding is so low at this point that re-doing this is a huge problem. We'll see.

Lonely and roughed up..cool coloring and edit!

@nanderson Thanks Nancy. It definitely looks gritty in that area -- but sad as the project is only about 2 years old -- massive renovation of the plaza. We now tiptoe carefully in and out because of all the wobbly and broken tiles.

You've captured this well. Great comp and colors.

It definitely needs a WATCH YOUR STEP! sign with it! Good shot.
