So here it is. The place where I took over a hundred pictures.
This is a picture of a Futuro house, which looks like a UFO. Also around it are some Venturo houses, which are basically small glass squares. They are in a small beach front neighborhood about forty minutes outside of Taipei.
These houses were built in the 1970s and basically served as summer beach homes. Now about 80% of them have been abandoned and after 35 years of neglect are almost completely destroyed. Which only serves to make this place more fascinating. Not only is it the 1970s version of the future, but now it's like visiting the remains of a post apocalyptic future.
Anyway I have a lot of cool pictures.. So at some point I will go through them and put a few up here. Since I was able to talk to the local neighborhood manager I also was found out some pretty cool stories.
