The first picture of this trip was the "golden waterfall" but that didn't provide a good view of the copper stained stream. Here is a better view.
At the bottom of the picture you can actually see part of the wall of one of the processing plant's buildings that fell off into the stream and is thoroughly stained.
A bit ironic that the mine was closed because it was too polluting, and has found a new way to pollute even after it has been closed. You just can't keep a bad mine down.
