Visiting a friend the other day and saw this note on their wall. It's basically an announcement asking people in the building not to smoke in the stairwell. The amusing part is the hand written addition in the top right. Essentially it is asking people not to fart in the stairwell as well.
I can't help but wonder all the possibilities associated with this. Is this really a problem? Is somebody so powerful that the odor stays in the stairwell so long? If so, wouldn't that be more of a medical condition and this note is unsympathetic? Are there really people who are walking outside of their apartment and going into the stairwell to fart?
Another announcement paper was telling of an apartment wide meeting next month. I hope my friend will go to get the bottom of this farting issue.
