Sometimes you get in a dark place where you just feel like life isn't worth living anymore. This is how I feel every time I'm reminded that Taiwan doesn't have potato bread hot dog buns and hamburger buns. Seriously, if I ever kill myself, the suicide note will just say "no good hot dog buns."
This is one of the biggest reasons why even the best hamburgers in Taiwan, are still not so great. It's hard to mind so much about hot dogs though, as there is not really any good hot dog meat in the country. However import brands are available if you want to pay the price. So you can get that and some other high quality ingredients for chili cheese dogs.
But the most important thing is that you can't get your spirits up too high, because the last thing you are going to do is go to 7-11 to get some hot dog "buns." Sigh. Where's the knife?
