Eiger Mönch and Jungfrau by terryliv

Eiger Mönch and Jungfrau

The Eiger Monch and Jungfrau taken from the Kleine Scheidegg railway station on our way back down to Wildersville. The Eiger is showing its famous North Face.
It was late in the afternoon and the weather had changed from the brilliant sunshine we had in the morning.
Klein Scheidegg is the first of the train changes for the journey back down.

See Mona's photo from a few days ago that got me started on all this at http://365project.org/mona65/365/2015-10-31

This is a stitch of 3 scanned images of shots taken with my trusty old Canon film SLR back in 2005.
Much better on black
Just returning the favour @mona65

So beautiful! My eyes are squinting to see Julie Andrews twirling around on a hill!

@terryliv Thank you Terry. Very kind of you.

As you mentioned some time ago, that you read Bill Bryson, ... I just stumbled over a book, that is maybe interesting for you too. I did not start yet, as I have plenty to doo. It is called "Slow train to Switzerland" from Diccon Bewes. One of the the recensions say: "fans of Bill Bryson will find him a kindred spirit". Its about an English Lady which set of by train on Thomas Cook's first Conducted Tour of Switzerland in 1863.
