OCOLOY Day 31: Log Bridge by vignouse

OCOLOY Day 31: Log Bridge

As I haven't had much exercise this week due to the constant rain, I took advantage of a change in the weather this afternoon to have a long walk in the forest. At one point I discovered that what is normally a shallow little stream was running around two feet deep... due to the constant rain this week! Happily I remembered that about 100m downstream from my usual crossing point, someone, some time ago, had constructed a little log bridge and, yes, it was still there, so I kept my feet dry.

This image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my post for 1 January and in my profile.

Has a tadge more bite when viewed on black...
The clarity is amazing, love the vantage point!

Makes me want to walk across! Nothing like a walk in the woods to refresh and renew the spirit. I feel better just looking at this magical forest!

Lovely image. Nothing better to clear your mind and revive your soul than a nice walk in the woods.

Fab on black...the leaves look cried enough for me to have a crunchy moment.

@cocobella Tu as bien deviné que marcher sur les troncs, débarassés d'écorce, était un peu hasardeux 🙃

Nicely done. It was such a cold winter feel to it.

Absolutely fascinating bridge, appears to be in the middle of nowhere and I would find myself in imagination toward its origin.

Mainly hunters would use this. A week ago, a hundred metres from here, I came face-to-face with a female wild-boar - I was so startled that I didn't think of the camera round my neck until she had bolted!

You have a great eye. You've extracted a well structured composition from this scene,
