I posted a couple of detail shots of the doors of this shed in January, today I'm posting an image of the whole thing. I thought I had best do it while it is still standing - if we have another storm like we had at the weekend, I'm not sure that it would survive... you can see that the roof only stays on because it is held down by heavy rocks!
The image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my post for 1 January and in my profile. I'm also tagging this for B&W February.
Glad to finally know that door in its entirety. It's a bit like people, when we love we love their details in full. I like the play of shadow on the door like claws threatening , I do not want to go I am afraid !
Have looked over all the pictures I missed while I was off line. Such a wide variety. You have taken some lovely pictures this week. I feel I am getting to know you area. Some pictures I can say - oh yes I remember this. If I was dropped down in the area I would find it so familiar. I am failing to follow through on my taking pictures inside. Oh well I will blame it on the beautiful weather we have had. Freezing cold weather this weekend so maybe I will follow through. I have some pictures for my light study. Should I post them sooc. Seems to me that is how I see best the result of the settings.
@joansmor I think, certainly initially, that the most important thing is to be able to see the results of the changes in the lighting and only these changes, so everything else needs to remain constant. You can ensure that either by shooting JPEG or by shooting Raw as normal and accepting only Lightroom's standard conversion. I look forward to seeing the first results.
