OCOLOY Day 42: Church of St Pierre

Tonight was a busy day and tonight was photo-club where I was helping a small group find their way around Lightroom, so it wasn't until almost 11pm that I had time to look for a photo for today. Regular visitors to my project have seen this church before - it's in the nearby town of Plélan-le-Grand - in both colour and B&W, but never SOOC! I was a little distracted taking this as 10 minutes before I had managed to drop my camera on to the pavement... it's now a little battle-scarred but it does appear to still be working OK.

The image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my post for 1 January and in my profile. I'm also tagging this for B&W February.

I haven't looked yet but I guess this will view best on black.
Lovely archetiture and lighting!

Dramatic building enhanced by the dramatic lighting.

The way that your local buildings are lit up at night is fabulous, makes good subjects for you.

Mind how you go! You still need 300+ shots from the beast yet! As if I need remind you.

@fntngrma @s4sayer @365projectorgsebgritt @jack4john @yrhenwr @jasperc Thank you all for your comments/favs on the image but also for your messages of concern for the victim of the accident! In fact this is the second time the X100T has been dropped: the first time a (ex!) friend dragged it off a table with his coat; this time the strap slipped through my fingers whilst I was putting stuff in the car. It bounced off a granite kerb-stone, hit the car and then dropped into a muddy gutter. Now that it's cleaned up, the only external damage seems to be a severely bent metal lens-hood that took all my strength and a pair of pliers to straighten. I'm just hoping that everything is OK on the inside.
