OCOLOY Day 55: Fragile Things

Crystal glass and china figurines share shelf space in the glass fronted cabinet in our kitchen.

This image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my post for 1 January and in my profile. I'm also tagging this for B&W February
Oh My! None of that would last a day in our house!

Still in one piece...wedding presents! I would this was quite a challenge under your criteria. Better...if I'd known to wash the glasses...ho,hum.

Lovely image Richard. Delightful fragile things and lovely reflections and bokeh too.

I like all the light and shade and you've given me an idea for a b&w of two figurines my dad brought back from his time as a PoW in WW2 - appropriated from the Royal Dux factory en route home in 1945 - and now on a shelf in our hall.

I love cut glass. I have seen them blow glass but never cut it in person. Now a little wine in the glass would make the picture perfect.

The glass apple grabs my interest. Have you tried any outdoor shots with the glass apple, or refraction. There's a bit of it going on here. Good shot.
