The 'Blue Pond' is the flooded remains of the last open-cast iron mine in Paimpont which ceased operating in 1916. Today it is the main freshwater reservoir for the area and with a maximum depth of 60m it is is ideally suited to this task.

I see the trees at your place are still bare. Here in the NE United States, they are filling in with green. So I am challenged here to get out my IR converted DSLR and see what I an do with that.
