OCOLOY Day 168: Concarneau - Inner Harbour

After posting yesterday's shot, I took a walk to see if I could find some interesting night views of Concarneau Harbour. At this time of the year it doesn't go dark until well after 11pm which makes posting a night shot for shot of the day a little tricky, so I saved this one for today!

As usual, this image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile.

Views nicely on black...
BoB is a Wow! VML the never say die cloud. Splendid.

A wonderful SOOC shot and it looks even better when enlarged and surrounded with more black.

The light on the clouds (sunset) is very dramatic. Well composed photo as it draws my eyes through from the foreground to the cloud formation.

I love this one... The contrast is excellent and the leading line of the boats is wonderful on the eye... Out of curiosity, did you try a long exposure for this scene?

Shots like these make me want to upgrade my camera - not that it would make me a better photographer, but at least it would provide me with more settings to chose from (yes I was looking at your settings Again). The "whiteness" of the boats are really, really beautiful.
