OCOLOY Day 255: Boats on the Vienne

Traditional skiffs pictured on the River Vienne at Chinon this afternoon.

As usual, the image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile. This is also for 'Square September' which you can find more about here - http://365project.org/discuss/general/28377/square-september
Lovely composition Richard, while on my recent canoe trip I did remember to take some photos in a square format, it does make you think differently about the composition!

Again, there's a terrific tonal gamma in your B&W, even when they're sooc!

VML these square shots which demand a panoply of additional considerations to continuously achieve shots that scratch all itches. Congratulations!

Another greatly composed shot with interest from the front to the back of the shot. I know your project does not allow it, but would love to see some detail pulled out in the sky, but that would mean processing. Still really like the shot!

The light works so well with the composition to give such a sense of depth. Very nice.
