Pictured art the port of Royan whilst waiting for he ferry across the mouth of the River Gironde.
As usual, the image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile. This is also for 'Square September' which you can find more about here - http://365project.org/discuss/general28377/square-september
Interesting -- to be in nature and he appears to be looking at his phone. Not sure if I'm seeing this correctly, though. I like the way his silhouette pops against the sky and the way the image tells a story.
Perhaps he is texting to say 'goodbye cruel world!' This has a dark-ish moody feel: silhouette, dark rocks, grey sea, a hint of thickening cloud.... a study in loneliness? I like it more the more I look at it. Fav
@yrhenwr I'm fascinated by the variety of reactions to this: I took several shots but I liked this one where he is walking out of the frame best. The reality is that the Royan Ferry terminal for the passage across the Gironde estuary is just 5 metres to the left and he, like me was waiting for the incoming ferry which you can just see in the middle of the frame.
