I was invited, as a guest, to attend a performance for a group of ladies living in a Board and care home. Several ladies were having memory loss along with other ageing issues. The performer Paula was a singer and entertainer, She brought back so many memories though her music. It touched me deeply seeing the joy in these lovely ladies.
This is a wonderful ministry to people who are incapacitated in some way and possibly cut off from lifelong friends and/or family. We used to visit a similar place once a week with others from our church, and yes, the joy it brought to the residents was so obvious and gratifying. How nice that you could be there, too!
