There were five of these guys extracting

Seaweed (commercially) on 90 mile beach and large truck trailers as well ,this seaweed is host to mussel seed /spat 60% for all NZ s mussel farms comes from here .
The tractors are raised specially for this use

@thistle yes we were fascinated by it as the large trucks had to keep moving to prevent them from sinking however 1was still but had large boards under all wheels
