Hmmmm...fiddled quite a bit trying to capture the wonderful effect of the Golden Hour light, but it just didn't come through in b&w the way it did in color. Still, stayed true to the monthly theme.
@pflaume Thank you. Most of our horses are dark, but there is one palomino and I kept maneuvering to get it included to get a contrast for black and white.
This is lovely and I like it very much. I switched views between the two versions several times before I read your comments, and my immediate thought was to regret the loss of that wonderful golden rimlight... but I'm going with this one anyway.
