Totality. I studied and studied and had my camera settings ready. I was pretty sure I'd get the shot, and kept reminding myself I needed to remember to "look around ... see the sunset colors on the horizon ... look at the planets." Then, I didn't. I just stared at the corona in awe. I got the Diamond Ring and Bailey's Beads. I briefly saw Venus when youngest insisted I stop and look, but the corona kept drawing me in. I am both thrilled and disappointed ... thrilled to see the corona I so long hoped to see, and disappointed I did not take in the landscape and family surrounding me during totality. It was all too brief. Oh yes ... BoB
Phenomenal capture and what a wonderful experience, don't be disappointed, the memories of this occasion will remain forever in your head, you don't need the photos!
Thank you for sharing this experience. I almost forgot to look around, and to look at it with my naked eye. I wish I'd done it more, but I'm not sad. I saw what I wanted to see and I got what I wanted to get. It just doesn't last long enough.
