Miseria challenged me "to take a photo of something you see all the time but have never photographed." I have always thought shopping carts would make an interesting subject, but I feel awkward hanging about the parking lot taking different shots of shopping carts so I've never photographed one. Today, though, I parked away from the heavily used part of the parking lot where this shopping cart had been left behind. I never quite got the angle I imagined, but I did like the leaf bokeh in this image.
Miseria @miseria Here's my first attempt at something I've never photographed. I've always wanted to do some shopping cart shots, but have never been brave enough to try in public.
Oh, this is great. I love the bokeh! I totally understand your discomfort at taking photos 'in public' like that. I really want to document the shops and market in our main street, but so far feel too self-conscious to do so! I must one day though!
Well done for going outside your comfort zone too!
