Well, tonight after work, we hit the waves hoping to catch some action. They looked ginormous, and indeed they were quite high for this area. Strangely, though, not many surfer's were actually catching them--perhaps they were TOO big?? Gnarly, dude.
Anyway, I was unable to capture anything crisp and cool before it got dark, so opted for another rather extreme take on what I observed going on. Not terribly thrilled with the results, but it's a learning experience each time I try something new.
...Oh, and no sooner did we put away our photo gear than the dolphins showed up! Thankfully we got to at least watch them for a moment or two which was way cool.
@bosschuster Thanks, Richard (and everyone else!) This was shot at the pier in Pismo Beach, CA. There's better wave action a little north of there, but the shooting is much better here.
