The old GR royal mail box still in use although the building it is housed in is redundant.
GR stands for 'George' (the fifth 'V' although the 'V' is not on there as he was the first George to have new letterboxes during his reign between 1910-11936) and 'R' stands for 'Rex' meaning King in latin.
