After the storm

I drove home through a driving rain storm and assumed it would continue through the afternoon. To my surprise, within half an hour the sun had come out and the clouds were fleeing from the sky. I walked around admiring the freshly washed world. Here is the very first bloom on my "knock out" rose bush. I think it is a good picture for Earth Day.
