What a dreary rain-soaked day, so when I caught this blaze of yellow I had to stop and celebrate. I think the large spots are some of those mammoth rain drops lashing us all afternoon. I took this picture under the protection of a covered walkway as I left school.
Great yellow!!! It makes me think of a yellow rainslicker too. I like how you featured it by making everything else b&w. Good shot! (It's been raining non-stop most of the day here too.)
So many setbacks when it rains..the yellow ladders gives the picture some wonderful color. after a whole day of rain its dry..very humid again but at least we could get out and stroll along the boardwalk this morning. just posted Lucy the elephant.
