Returned to school today after a week away, to see everyone in blue jeans. Since our dress code does not permit jeans, I soon found out the special dispensation was due to Earth Day. These Fourth Graders are loving every moment of it!
What a happy group of kids. Are they typically in uniform? I haven't heard about a policy of no jeans before except in schools where they wear uniforms. There are strict dress codes here involving revealing wear and those awful long slung baggy pants ;-)
@cimes1 No uniforms, but for boys collared shirts, belts, and shirt tails tucked in. Girls must wear appropriate outfits. It makes a more business-like environment.
