Blending In

This bird seemed rather ordinary til he moved further up the branch and clung upside down. (Naturally I didn't capture that moment.) The only bird I found with that claim to fame is the white-breasted nuthatch. His distinguishing trait is an upturned beak, but as you can tell, this bird has his head turned so you can't see his beak at all. Maybe I will see him again tomorrow. I think I'll carry my camera with the good zoom!

What fun processing! I never manage to capture anything but the the backside of birds and animals. I took a picture of horses in a beautiful pasture in Kentucky and when I looked at it later, not one was facing me so you know what I took pictures of!
