Cristo Rey held an Open House for prospective students as well as the corporate sponsors who wanted to see the students in their natural setting. Our tour guides, all freshmen, were poised, enthusiastic and very impressive.
Thank you for posting this, Allison! I love Cristo Rey. We have one in Baton Rouge. It replaced a diocesan school that closed, Redemptorist, where 2 of my children went. I still mourn Redemptorist, but Cristo Rey carries on the tradition of offering a good education to students whose public schools might not meet their needs.
@eudora I love what they are doing, offering opportunities to deserving students who because of finances would otherwise be shut out of the bright futures that now await them.
