The Banner Lecture at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture at noon today was given by Law Professor Dick Howard from the University of Virginia on the 50th anniversary of the latest edition of the Constitution of Virginia. Professor Howard chaired the committee that addressed many issues held over from the Jim Crow era. It was a fascinating program, combining history, politics, and sociology with additional insights into the current state of the Court.
