Awake Too Soon

Last week it was warm enough to lure the daffodils into bloom. The last few days the temperature plunged, and those flowers foolish enough to be flaunting their spring outfits were soon sorry. I'm hoping a return to warmer days will revitalize these early risers. After all, isn't this the season of rebirth?

Ooo, hate when that happens. Kind of sad, isn't it, as we anticipate the warmer weather, but nature lashes back to realign it all, and some suffer.
