I have been waiting for weeks for Apple's iPad 2 to be offered for sale. My husband knew how much I hankered for it and said he wanted to get it for me. Now, if you know anything about the hype of new products from Apple, you know there will be long lines at the Apple stores around the country. I refuse to fall for that. I did however get up at 4 AM to be at the head of the line of orders being shipped from the Apple website. It turns out, that was a good thing; My device should arrive between March 18th and 25th. Later orders on the web won't arrive for another 3 weeks. My urgency is dictated by a conference in San Francisco in mid April. How nice it will be to travel light!
