East and West Paden Bridges by allie912

East and West Paden Bridges

These two bridges are in Columbia County. They were constructed in 1884 for $720, and were named after John Paden who operated a nearby sawmill. There seems to be some question if they are the only twin bridges in the United States, or one of two, but in any event, they are extremely rare!
