Virginia is a "swing state" with big crowds expected to show up in many precincts. As you can see, when I went to vote after school, I had no delay in casting my vote.
Allison, in the UK the turn out for general elections is always pretty poor.....with almost half the people eligible to vote not bothering to do so. I'm pleased you used vote, that's all we can asks citizens of a democracy to do ....A nice record shot of your 'voting day'
Schools in my district were closed today for the election (am not sure why!), so I was able to vote after 9:00 a.m. - in and out in 10 minutes. I've been watching the news and am hearing stories of people standing in line for over 2 hrs. to vote at the Boston Public Library. Everyone seems to be wondering how Virginia and Ohio will be voting! :)
