If you have school age kids you probably recognize the device in the foreground. It is a fidget spinner.( http://time.com/money/4750498/fidget-spinners-toy-craze-focus/) The third grader who demonstrated it to me also pulled out the fidget cube. He told me he preferred the cube because you can handle it quietly without distracting anyone. Isn't that thoughtful?
I was reading an article here in UK about these spinners. Some schools have banned them now because they are so distracting. They were fist made for children with Autism which I can understand. We have a grandson with a type of autism and he would find this fascinating. Maybe the children should all have worry beads to 'fidget' with!!
