Today we received a thank you note from Henry (with a little help from Dad) It is a good feeling to know that your children are passing on the customs we worked hard to instill in them. This letter goes in the treasure drawer.
Well what a well brought up boy! I always made mine write thank you letters…I can remember the chore myself & my daughter & one daughter in law follows suit but the other DIL wasn’t brought up to write letters & I never got one from those two.
Sadly with technology today the art of actual letter writing is a rarer thing so hang on to that.
