This chickadee is a very fastidious feeder at the mealworm dish. He appears to be standing at attention waiting for his next bite.

Nice capture and great clarity.
I have to say that taking care of the birds is a joy for us, however, where we live we can only feed the humming birds, but that’s okay.
The feeder hangs by our living room window and we get to enjoy watching.

@mamabec I’m not supposed to fill bird feeders because of the possibility of attracting rodents, but somehow mealworms got a pass. ( and I am careful to keep the ground clean)
