While enjoying our tea party at Blair’s yesterday, we were drawn to this trio of paintings. It turns out they were painted in Scotland by Blair’s great grandfather before he and his family left for opportunities in America. As Blair explained, “He had a university degree and the only job he could get was as a mailman. So instead he turned to America as so many have done for hundreds of years.
What a wonderful collection to connect Blair to her heritage.
