This is only part of the busy day at school today - spent the afternoon with the Year 1 (6/7 yr olds) kids - part of their work today was to start collage work on a picture of a chair - I demonstrated what they needed to do and then questioned my ability to explain when I had to keep saying " small pieces" as they tore chunks of paper from the magazines - haha such are the pleasures of teaching the little ones.
Best largest :)
Maybe so but made for a fabulous collage : enjoy their innocence it goes all too quickly: years ago I had as part of my teacher training had to teach in a Primary School 5-11yrs and admire you : you must have the patience of a saint ! That made me decide to teach adults !
@paul2782 it is their innocence I like - particularly the littler ones - they find everything so new and exciting - the older primary kids are great to chat to about all the things they are interested in
Lovely collage, really sweet with those little hands. Makes me think of something my daughter said when we were out shopping at the weekend and she overheard a father say to his little one, 'don't run around corners'. Think she had one of those eureka moments because she said my goodness you must have to be so patient with little kids because they have to learn absolutely everything!
