Being familiar with the "Kangaroo Paw Plant" flower, it's my guess as those front feet resemble the flower! How's that for coming through the back door?!
and BTW, very clever on your part... totally engaging on a Friday night that is always quiet for me on 365! (and clearly I don't have a very exciting date tonight, either!)
@Weezilou I was just thinking the other day that I would love to have another one of those plants! I had a yellow one years ago that I brought inside every winter. Was unaware they came in the hairy-toed variety!
@shesnapped isn't it amazing how conversations take a turn around here at times! There's always a large conversation going on, and it's wonderful what we can pick up on!
@shesnapped@Weezilou i have a couple of different kangaroo paw varieties. ...last year at a garden show they had a 'black' variety from Western Australia...won't grow here in Sydney but they were selling cut ones so I bought them to enjoy for a few weeks.
